Constance "Connie" Ferrara

Obituary Condolences

It is with heavy heart that we share that Connie Ferrara, beloved wife and mother, passed away quickly Monday night, April 14, 2008. Saturday had been filled with family, friends and laughter and the joy of playing with her first great grandchild. Connie was surrounded by love when she left us. We want everyone to know that she had a gentle smile on her face and looked as beautiful as the day she and Adam met. She was in no pain and for that we are truly grateful.
Connie was born in Boston, Mass. to William and Margaret "Peg" McKinnon. She became Mrs. Ferrara when she married Adam J. Ferrara Dec. 18, 1961 in Boston, Mass. It was love at first sight, a marriage that will transcend all boundaries of time and distance. No two people could have loved each other more.
She is survived by her husband, Adam J. Ferrara of the family home; three daughters, Rosemarie Ferrara and Theresa Waxlax and husband, Tony, all of Alamogordo, and Angela Racoosin and husband, Robert of Honolulu, Hawaii and one son Adam Ferrara and his wife, Sandra of Alamogordo; seven grandchildren, Andrew Stevens Ferrara and wife, Meghann, Micela House, Eryn Daugherty, Rob Jr. and Madeline Racoosin, Mark Adam House and Aandrea Waxlax; great grandchildren, Ayden and Mila Stevens Ferrara, extended family members Dick and Jackie Turnbull, two sisters, Margaret Groden of Bedford, Mass. and Roddie Richards of Austin, Texas, many nieces and nephews including Amy Groden-Morrison and Cindy and Jackie Richards.
It was Connie's wish that there be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made, in her name, to the or other cancer care/research organization of your choice.
While our loss and grief is overwhelming, we are comforted by the knowledge that she is at peace.
