Crucie was a wonderful waitress until the age of 82. Her customers at the Ship Ahoy, Lester's Cafe, Lariat and C&C all loved her. Her favorite late night customer at the Lariat was her nephew, Alamogordo Police Officer LT Jimmy Vigil until his death in August 1973. She loved all of her nieces, nephews, great & great-great nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. She loved babysitting, singing and playing games with them. Her favorite songs were "How much is that doggie in the window", "Que Sera Sera" and "Pretty Baby". She loved telling jokes, her favorite was "Prince Albert in the Can". They all loved going places with Aunt Crucie because she drove fast. She loved getting her hair and nails done until the very end.
