Dale A. Pratt Obituary

After surviving a difficult accident, the Lord took Dale home on Jan. 20, 2016.

Dale was born in Reed City, Michigan, to Jessie and Viola Pratt on March 16, 1942.
He was enlisted in the Air Force until 1963, then worked at HAFB and NASA. Before retirement, he worked for Alamogordo Public Schools as the Director of Data Processing. He wrote code for the Air Force and NASA when computers took up an entire room. He knew more about computers and building anything than anyone we have ever known.

We were extremely blessed to have had him in our lives. He will be missed so much by his family and friends.

Dale is survived by his wife, Alberta; daughters, Vicky and Shawna; daughter-in-law April; grandchildren, Amber (Robert),
TJ (Mayra), Chelsea (Jeremy), Leighana (Chris), Zachary; great grandchildren Savannah, Tristan, Greyson, Nolan, Parker and Brook; his sister, Darlene (Ron) Sherman, and a very special cousin, Ernie Pratt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and mother and father-in-law, Albert and Mary Shaw; his brothers John and Donald Pratt, and his son Dale "Joe" Pratt.

Dale will be laid to rest on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Assembly of God, located at 1900 23rd Street, in Alamogordo, with Anthony Torres officiating. Viewing will be at 1 p.m. at the church.

Pallbearers will be Travis Connelly, Paul Reinhardt, Robert Ross, Malcolm Petree, Johnnie LaMay and Scott Dehling
Honorary Pallbearers will be Glenn Markham, Jackie LaMay, Tristan Veith, Zachary Pratt.
