David E. Williamson Obituary
David E. Williamson, 40, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012, in Alamogordo. He was born Sept. 2, 1971, in Alamogordo to Jesusita Estrada and Jose Tereso Fierro. His mother later married Carter Williamson, who adopted and raised David and his sister Margarita.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Candelario Estrada and Margarita Estrada and Vidal Fierro and Carlota Fierro, and his younger brother Carlos Sanchez.
Survivors include his parents, Jesusita Williamson and Carter Williamson; his sister Margarita Williamson; his three children David Williamson Jr., Reynn Williamson and Anysia Williamson; his aunts and uncles Jesus and Martha Amilia Estrada, Mario and Estefana Maynez, Barbara and Ken Lawrence, Wilma and Ronny Day, Ginny and Bill Foster and William L. Williamson; and many cousins, relatives and friends.
David, also know as ""DVD,"" spent many years in the filmmaking business in New Mexico and many other states. He was attending New Mexico State University as a full-time student.
The rosary will be recited by his aunt Martha Amelia Estrada at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home chapel.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Mike Lindsey as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Freddy Lopez, Marcos Maynez, Chuy Estrada, David Williamson Jr., Scott Leffew, Ernie Corona, Alfonso Rey and George Baca.
Honorary pallbearers include Miguel Souverbielle, Cecelia Lopez, Monique Maynez, Irene Estrada, Lucy Estrada, Susie Corona, Yamiley Alan, Camryn Lopez, Emilio Lopez, Nina Estrada, Jonah Romero, Isabela Romero, Reynn Williamson and Anysia Williamson.
Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday before the rosary.
The Williamson family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
