Deborah L. (Debbie) Morgan – Boroski
July 11, 1957 – January 17, 2016

Debbie was born on July 11 , 1957 to Billie C. and Mary L. Morgan in Alamogordo, NM. She was received into the arms of our Lord on Sunday, January 17 at the age of 58 in her home at Tularosa. She was a Candy Striper at GCMH during high school and graduated from AHS in 1975 at which time she enrolled at NMSU-A into the Nursing Program and received her Associate Degree in Nursing.
She was employed as Dr. Borgeson's nurse until his retirement at which time she began working at GCMH. Debbie worked in several departments such as 0B, a Surgical Recovery nurse, Pre-admit, Out Patient Care and Infection Control. She continued her education with NMSU and received her RN-BSN in 2004. Her last place of employment was with the Scenic View Surgical Center at which time she was diagnosed with Carcinoid Cancer in December 2007 and was unable to continue working. Nursing was her passion which she dearly missed as she was truly a caretaker at heart and she continued to keep her RN license current.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Billie Morgan and nephew, Billie May. Survivors include her mother, Mary L. Morgan - Her spouse of 28 years, Jeff Boroski - Daughter, Michelle (Pary) Boroski - Son, Charlee Boroski. Her beloved grandchildren - Clint, Josiah, Kylee and Clark. Her sisters, Mary P. Morgan and Becky (Donnie) May. Nieces - Paula (Charles) Cox, Katie (Clete) Powell, Jennie Guthrie, and Dawna (Bill) Romine. Great Nieces - Megan, Rebekka, and Branda (and her 2 sons). Great Nephews - Justin, Jacob, Dylan and Seth. Great-Great Niece - Mackenna. Her father and mother in-law - Walt and Ida Boroski. Brother in-laws, Lyle (Nellie) Boroski and Glen (Alexandra) Boroski. Niece - Catherine and Nephews, Joshua and Shawn and the 4 Legged Love of her life, Andy.
Debbie enjoyed her crafting, quilting and sewing which resulted in many unique gifts for family and friends. She was affectionately called "Dandy" by her grand kids.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 22 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Hamilton O'Dell Funeral Home. Services will be at 9:30 am Saturday, January 23 at The Worship Center located at 801 10th Street with Pastor Chris Weiss officiating. Graveside Services immediately following at Monte Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jeff Boroski, Charlee Boroski, Lyle Boroski, Robert Reeves, Jim Bridge and Jimmy Bridge. Honorary Pallbearers are Walt Boroski, Glen Boroski, Don May, Pary Bennett, Clint Boroski, Joshua Boroski and David Lawrence.
The Family cordially invites everyone to bring a dish and participate in a pot luck dinner back at The Worship Center right after graveside services for a time of food, fellowship and reminiscing.
