Dorothy Jean Eisler Obituary

Dorothy Jean Eisler passed away peacefully on June 24, 2014, in Alamogordo.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Edward Eisler; daughter, Vicki Holmes-Brannon, and son, Steven E. Eisler, as well as five grandchildren and six great-grand children.

Dottie, as everyone knew her, married Ed in 1945 in Columbus, Ohio. They spent 20 years of their marriage serving in the Army, moving frequently and enjoying a life of adventure and travel, which included a three-year tour in Verona, Italy.
Following retirement from the Army, Dottie and Ed moved to the place they loved the most, Alamogordo, where
Dottie worked at and retired from the Holloman Air Force Base Exchange.
She also became a community contributor to the cause of animal welfare. She was passionate about her volunteerism,
donating countless hours and energy working for the good of abandoned, abused and neglected animals.

Dottie loved people and was a friend to anyone in need. She always had a kind word and a smile on her face.

She will be sorely missed by the family and all who knew her and her kind ways.
