1955 - 2015 Obituary Condolences

Douglas served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a veteran of Desert Storm. He became an ordained minister.
Douglas loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing and quail hunting. He believed in the Bible and loved to shoot his guns. He loved collecting antiques. He was a fan of the Volkswagon beetle cars, and he loved to ride his Harley.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Polly Johnston and his brother Scott Johnston.

He is survived by a son Ryan Johnston; daughter Shannon Dupell (Michael Dupell Jr.); four grandchildren; Michael III, Ellasandra, Ryder, and Grayer Dupell.
He is also survived by his sisters Debi Landrum; Claudia Johnston Faught. He leaves behind one nephew who was like a son to him, Jaimey Johnston, three nephews and five nieces, along with many great-nieces and nephews.

Douglas will be loved and missed by all his family and friends. They will cherish the memories they have of him.

Memorial services be held at Christ Community Church, 2960 N. Scenic Dr. on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 9 a.m., in the small chapel.
