1937 - 2009 Obituary Condolences
Edward W. Waldron, 71, of Alamogordo, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009, at Mountain View Medical Center in Las Cruces.
Waldron was born Aug. 24, 1937, in Springfield, Mass., to Edward and Margaret (Gereau) Waldron. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was heavily involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He retired after 37 years of working with United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, Conn. He was also a part-time employee at Wal-Mart in Alamogordo.
He leaves his loving wife of 48 years, Marcella (LaMotte) Waldron, of the family home; a son, Bryan Waldron, and his wife, Deborah Adams-Waldron, of East Longmeadow, Mass.; a daughter, Kellee Domingue, of Suffield, Conn.; four grandchildren, Benjamin and Averi Domingue, of Connecticut, and Thomas (T.J.) and Steven Adams, of Massachussets; two sisters, Mary Debarge and her husband, Walter, of Ludlow, Mass., and Sheila Sheehan, of Springfield; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be conducted at a later date in East Longmeadow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children and Burn Center.
The Waldron family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation has taken place locally at PCS.
