1932 - 2012 Obituary Condolences
Estella (Ronquillo) Telles Soto, 79, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012, at her residence in Alamogordo. She was born March 23, 1932, in Valle de Allende, Chihuahua, Mexico, to the late Jesus Jose Ronquillo and Raquel Esparza.
Survivors include her three children, Mary "Clarita" Telles, Ernesto "Tito" and Robert "Bobby" Telles; five grandchildren, Jessica Melo, Gloria, Ernesto "Neto," Frankie and Angela Telles; seven great-grandchildren, Christopher and Klarysa Melo, Deja and John Clark Jr., Jamori McDougald, Julorian Jordan and Jasmine Telles; three brothers, Ismael, Benjamin and Manuel Ronquillo; and two sisters, Jovita Avalos Ronquillo and Martha Figuero Ronquillo, all of Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest P. Telles; two sisters, Antonia Armendariz and Victoria Cortez Ronquillo; and her brother Aurelio Ronquillo.
Estella was well known for her generosity, outstanding knitting, cooking and gardening abilities. She was a longtime member of the Ebenezer Church, and worked for over 30 years for the New Mexico School for the Visually Impaired.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2011, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home chapel.
The family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until the service.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
