Evelyn "Ardell" Chindberg Obituary
In Loving Memory
Evelyn "Ardell" Myers Chindberg
Ardell, age 87, passed away in her home Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011. She was born June 21, 1923, in Burr Oak, Kan., to Herman and Nina Myers.
Survivors include her son and his wife Gary and Sonja Chindberg and her granddaughter Stefanie Chindberg and great-grandchild Lance Chindberg, all of Alamogordo; daughter Jodie Taylor and grandson Matthew Taylor, of Midland, Texas; granddaughter Clarissa Lovato and husband, Shayne, and their two sons Michael and Canon Lovato, of Surprise, Ariz.; brothers Lee, of Concordia, Kan., Ray, of Topeka, Kan., Lewis, of Hastings, Neb., and Norman, of Tucson, Ariz.; and her sister Sylvia, of Portland, Ore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Chindberg; parents Herman and Nina Myers; and five siblings.
Her pastimes included Beta Sigma Phi for 50-plus years, ladies quilting, sewing, baking/cooking and painting, to list a few.
Memorial services will take place at Our Savior Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011.
Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, El Paso.
The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home.
The Chindberg family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral arrangements.
