Fannie Lou (Brewer) "Penny" Rodolph Obituary
Feb. 6, 1929 to Oct. 6, 2009
Fannie Lou "Penny" (Brewer) Rodolph, 80, a resident of Farmington since 2007, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, at Beehive Homes in Farmington. Penny was born Feb. 6, 1929, in Roswell, the daughter of Robert Owen Brewer and Irene (Sparks) Brewer. She attended Carlsbad High School where she later graduated. Penny met and married Bob Rodolph in 1948 and they were married for 50 years. Her life revolved around her family. Penny was a homemaker and raised four wonderful children. Penny moved to Farmington in 2007 to be near her sons. She loved to read and was a great cook. Penny will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. The family wishes to express gratitude to the Northwest New Mexico Hospice Organization, who took such great care of Penny during her final months. 
Penny was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Rodolph; daughter Linda Lou Rodolph and sister Bobbie Morgan.
She is survived by her daughters Karen (Frank) Medina and Kathy Rodolph, both of Las Cruces; grandson Christopher Medina, also of Las Cruces; sons Keith and Kevin Rodolph, of Farmington; and many dear friends.
Rosary will be Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at 7 p.m. at West Funeral Home Chapel, 401 N. Guadalupe St. in Carlsbad.
Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Carlsbad with Father Cyprian Uline as celebrant. Penny will then be laid to rest next to her husband, Bob, at the Carlsbad Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Northwest New Mexico Hospice, 608 Reilly Ave., Farmington, NM 87401.
