Felix A. Carrillo Obituary

Felix A. Carrillo was born to Abram and Pauline Carrillo on Feb. 7, 1969, in Alamogordo. He passed away peacefully at home in Alamogordo on Monday, March 2, 2015.

He served seven years in the U.S. Army as a light wheel vehicle mechanic. He also worked with the family business of Carrillo Masonry. He was a very loving and caring person. He had the biggest heart and you could always expect a big hug from him. He had a few special nieces and nephew that loved him dearly, Mario, Angelica, Matthew, Richard and Nannie. They would do anything for him. He enjoyed hanging out with his great nieces and nephews. He attended their dance shows, football, baseball, and soccer games and was their biggest fan!

He is survived by his wife, Crissy; sons, Kevin Carrillo of Thiergartenstrasse, Germany and Cody Frost of Las Cruces; daughter, Ashley Frost of Albuquerque. He is also survived by his loving mother Pauline, brother, Danny Carrillo and his wife Nena; sisters, Stella Hendrickson and her husband Marcelino and Martha Fernandez and her husband Jimmy; very special father and mother-in-law, Terry and Fran Lewis; brother-in-law, Rusty Lewis and wife Anna; uncles, Manuel, Valente and Stanley Carrillo; aunts, Viola Salas and husband Alfonso and Patsy Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Abram A. Carrillo; brother, Jerry Gonzales; and sister-in-law, Misty Gonzalez.

The family will greet friends from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel.
The rosary will be recited by Beatrice Millows at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Alamogordo Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Rusty Lewis, Richard Gutierrez, Mario Lechuga, Matthew Hendrickson, Jeremy Paz and Joseph Mendez. Honorary pallbearers are Angelica Lechuga, Hortencia Gutierrez, Josie Mendez, Charlie Dairy, Larry Torres, Reymundo Segovia and Matthew Mirabal.

The Carrillo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
