He served his country in World War II from 1943-1947 with the 324th Infantry in the European Theater of Operations, was awarded two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart and was honorably discharged. He moved his family to Alamogordo in April 1953, where he worked for Land Air Inc., a subsidiary or California Eastern Aviation Inc., Dynalectron and DynCorp from 1953 to 1991.
He was loved very much and will be missed greatly. Thank you, Rebecca, for taking care of Dad and Mother so lovingly.
