1921 - 2016 Obituary Condolences

Born in Tularosa, N.M., May 11, 1921, went to Heaven's Garden on June 30, 2016. He was a WWII Veteran, fought in five major battles. Kiko was known for the love he had for Santo Nino Church in Three Rivers, fulfilling a promise he made during the war to come home safely and take care of church and grounds until death.

At 95, he still made his trips to the church. He also loved gardening, watering, growing and giving away vegetables, chili and melons. Kiko always had a smile on his face and was always a jokester. He was a loving and great husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed.

Kiko is survived by his wife, Virginia of the family home; two sons, Frank (Janie), Freddie (Patsy); three daughters, Corina (Robert), Viola (Billie) and Cathy; three step-children. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. Special friends, James Duran and Ralph Vigil.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ricardo and Maria, daughters Lucia and Teresa, grandson Chris, three brothers, one sister and Amalia Guilez, mother of his children.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m., and Mass at 11:00 a.m., at St. Francis De Paula Church.
Burial at Santo Nino Cemetery in Three Rivers.

Pallbearers will be James Duran, Steven, Angel, Frankie, Billy and Domini. Honorary pallbearer will be all of his grandchildren and family.
