Frank Rocha Jr.

Obituary Condolences

Frank Rocha Jr., 69, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 2, 2010, in Las Cruces. He was born Nov. 18, 1940, in Los Angeles. He married his childhood crush and sweetheart, Kelly Aguirre, Oct. 28, 1958.

He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by three sons and one grandson.

Frank is survived by his gorgeous wife of 52 years, Kelly, and all her family, who loved him like a brother; his two sons, Steve, of Ontario, Calif., and Peter Rocha, of Ruidoso; his one and only daughter, Norma Arreola and her husband, Jesse, of Alamogordo; 11 grandchildren, Garbriel and wife, Angelica, of Los Angeles, Steven Rocha, of Ontario, Peter Fragoso, Heidi, Joseph and Sarah Rocha, of Alamogordo, Vanessa, Jesse Jr. and wife, Jada, Isaac and wife, Naomi, Garbriel and Ziggy Arreola, of Alamogordo; five great-grandchildren, Emily and Olivia, of Los Angeles, Sophia, Isaac II and Kailee Arreola, of Alamogordo; his church family from The Light House Christian Center in Ruidoso; and his friends and compadres from Salvadors Collision and friend Candy Ramos and his wife, whom he loved and considered family.

Frank's greatest joy was serving the Lord and doing all he could to see God's kingdom advanced. He had a passion for souls and loved singing to his church family. He greatly cherished his time spent with his children, grandkids and great-grandkids. He also devoted his time to the inmates at the Lincoln County Detention Center, where he served in jail ministry. Frank took pride in being discipled by his pastor and laboring to see his church grow and his destiny fulfilled. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to family, friends and even strangers.

Frank and family are very thankful and blessed to have been "touched" by Mrs. Van Winkle and the angels at CAPPED.

The family would like to invite you to a celebration of life for Frank at 11 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2010, at the Hamilton-O'Dell chapel.

The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the arrangements.
