Glenda Sue "Suzi" Coker Obituary
Glenda Sue "Suzi" Coker was welcomed home to Heaven on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011. She was with her loved ones and spiritually at peace. Suzi was born Jan. 2 1951, in Littlefield, Texas.
Suzi was the beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to so many. Suzi lovingly worshipped at Bethel Baptist Church for over 25 years and blessed many with her service to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with her gift of music at the piano at Bethel. She lived every day with an unwavering commitment to her faith and her family.
She worked faithfully at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center for over 20 years.
Suzi is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert "Bob" Coker of Alamogordo and their three children: Jennifer Duggan and husband, John of El Paso, and their children Emma and Brady; Robbi Coker of Alamogordo; and Dustin Coker of Alamogordo. She is also survived by her sister, Brenda Weimer of Santa Fe and niece and nephew Sarah and Rowan Tanner of Phoenix.
A memorial service celebrating her life will take place at Bethel Baptist Church, 1316 Scenic Drive Alamogordo, N.M. at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, with pastors Howell Scott and Ryan Bird conducting the service.

The Coker family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
