Gloria Gonzales Avalos

Obituary Condolences

Gloria Gonzales Avalos passed away quietly in her home with her family by her side. As she crossed over, she was greeted by those that have gone before her including Frankie Gonzales (brother), Lisi Avalos (daughter), Willie Avalos (father-in-law) and Manuel Gonzales (father). She was no longer in need of her worn out heart or tired kidneys; she was young and healthy again as she sang with the full choir of angels that lined up to receive her. There was beautiful crepe draped over the Gates of Heaven, woven upon by Saints with an inscription that read:

'Welcome home good and faithful servant, job well done!'

She was our mentor, our beacon, our balance, our compass. If during our daily activities, you see us with tears in our eyes, understand that although our hearts are quiet we are not sad. We had happiness while she was with us and we will live joyfully going forward, simply for having had her in our lives for even this very short time. Wednesday was a day with warm sunshine and the skies were crystal blue….
….it was a beautiful day to cross over.

Survived by: her husband of 40 years, Ron Avalos; her kids, Ronnie, his wife Darbie and Joseph Avalos of Ariz.; her mother, Alice Gonzales; her siblings, Manny , Victoria and David Gonzales.

She was blessed with loving in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and many long-time friends.
Memorial service will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016. Rosary 9:30 a.m. Mass 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will be private.
