Helen Alta Erle (Seeger) Kayser Obituary
Helen Alta (Seeger) Erle Kayser, beloved daughter, mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at Good Samaritan Society-Betty Dare after a long illness. She was born April 15, 1923, to Arthur Seeger and Alta (Hill) Seeger.
Helen graduated from Chili High School. She lived in upstate New York, Deming and Alamogordo. She loved square dancing, music, art and traveling. She was a lifelong Christian and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Deming for many years.
Survivors include her children, Leonard Erle and his wife, Margaret, of Alamogordo, and Linda Erle, of Rochester, N.Y.; two daughters-in law, Terry Runge-Erle, wife of the late Leslie Erle, of Alamogordo, and Diana Rohr, wife of the late Lewis Erle, of Panama City, Fla.,; step-daughters Debbie Kayser Daniel, of Las Cruces, and Rachel Kayser; six grandchildren, Melissa Erle, Skye Erle, Tammy Rohr, Shauna Wolfe, Kathy Cuevas and Tammy Brown; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her three husbands, Emmanuel Erle, Merlin Erle and Fred Kayser; and three children, Leslie Erle, Lewis Erle and Larry Erle.
The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services. Interment will be at Fort Bayard National Cemetery, where she will be buried with Merlin Erle.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Good Samaritan Society-Betty Dare for the level of care, kindness, culture of professional medical caring, sincere social support and love given to Helen Kayser at all times.
