Herbert (Herbie) Coyazo Obituary

Herbert (Herbie) Coyazo was called home to be with our Lord, December 22, 2015. He was born in Alamogordo, N.M. in 1963. Herbert was devoted to our Lord. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Coyazo; mother, Eugenia Apodaca Coyazo; brother, Fernando and sister, Terry.

Herbie is survived by his wife, Elaine Martinez Coyazo; son, Tyler Coyazo; daughter, Samantha Lucero-Martinez and granddaughter, Raven Martinez of his family home. Herbie is also survived by his children Sabrina, Davina, Boy-boy, Susana and stepdaughter Crystal.
Herbie is survived by his siblings Richard Coyazo, Johnny Coyazo Connie Rodriguez, Bea Quintana, Manuel Coyazo and Mario Coyazo.

Herbie was a professional truck driver for over 20 years and traveled the United States. His wife and friends can tell you that he was one of the hardest working men around. His wife and two sons had the opportunity to travel with him.

Pallbearers are Peter Madrid, Jim Leder, Paul Padilla, Richard Coyazo Jr., Juan Quintana and Johnny Rodriguez.
Honorary pallbearers are Marcelino Hendrickson, Benny Covarrubia, Michael Baker, Stephen Leyva and Carlos Sierra Jr.

The family would like to give special thanks to friends and family who have reached out with help, comfort and love.

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. at First Assembly Worship Center, located at 1100 N. Florida Ave., in Alamogordo, N.M., on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Memorial services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m.
Reception will follow at St. Jude Parish Hall, 1404 College Ave.
