Obituary Condolences

Hipolito Monrreal, 90, left this world on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, to rest his tired heart.
He served his country during World War II and received numerous medals, including the Purple Heart. He lived through the Great Depression and worked with the Union Pacific Railroad.
He is preceded in death by his parents Manuela and Petra Monrreal, five brothers and three sisters.
He leaves behind a sister, Sally Terrazas; a brother, Santos Monrreal; six nephews, five nieces and numerous great nephews and nieces.
With his heart he touched all his family.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Carrizozo with Father Franklin Eichhorst, O.F.M.
The Monrreal family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place locally at PCS.
