1920 - 2010 Obituary Condolences
Homer Jack "Red" Brown was born March 14, 1920, in Daphine, Texas, but spent his early life in Burk Burnett, Texas. He was the son of Henry Jack and Vinnie Collins Brown.
He is survived by wife, Helen Brown; sons Lester Brown, of Bastrop, Texas, Jim Dennison, of Gladstone, Mo., and Robert Bruce Brown, of Portland, Ore.; and daughter Samantha, of California.
At a young age, Red enlisted in the Army Air Corps, but served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, returning to the Army Air Corps before retiring.
He loved traveling in his RV around the United States. He was an accomplished leather tooler and a hobbiest of H.O. trains with displays.
No services will be held after cremation at Alamogordo Funeral Home.
