Obituary Condolences

Inice T. Hust, 101, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, in Alamobordo. She was born June 19, 1909, in Coryell County, Texas, to Daniel O. Jones and Mattie Belle Chaney Jones.
At the age of 5, Inice and her family came to New Mexico in a covered wagon. She attended school in Capitan and received her teaching certificate from New Mexico Highlands in Las Vegas. She taught at the Baca school and also at the school in Nogal, where she met and later married Elmer C. Hust.
She served several terms as Lincoln County clerk, retiring in 1971. On April 1, 2001, she moved from Carrizozo to the Aristocrat Assisted Living Center in Alamogordo to be closer to her son and daughter-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer C. Hust, in 1979; her sisters Eunice Farless and Lucille Smith; her brothers Virgil Jones, Manuel Jones and Marvin Jones.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Clarence and Millie Hust, of Alamogordo; grandchildren Karen Rawling and her husband, Gino, of Nesbit, Miss., and Ron Hust, of Tempe, Ariz.; great-grandchildren Stacye Rawlings-Loveday and her husband, Mick, of Nashville, Tenn., and Tyler and Chad Hust, of Mesa, Ariz.; and great-great-granddaughter Iory, of Mesa. She is also survived by her brother Paul Jones and his wife, Arlene, of Capitan; sisters Opal Peters and her husband, Lamoyne, of Capitan, and Mildred Riegel and her husband, Norman, of Tucumcari, and Mary Belle Spruell of Amarillo, Texas; sister-in-law Imogene Jones, of Capitan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel in Ruidoso. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at LaGrone Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don Madaris officiating. Burial will follow at the Angus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ron Hust, Gino Rawlings, Tyler Hust, Chad Hust, David Steeby and Daren Steeby.
Should friends desire contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research or the charity of their choice.
