Jack Crouch Obituary

Jack Crouch passed away on March 8, 2015, at home in Buda, Texas, surrounded by family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy Crouch, his two sons Zac and Si Crouch. He is also survived by his brother Jerry Crouch, sister Linda Edge and his seven grandchildren: Zane, David, Zinnia, Jack, Asher, Zoe, and Ava.

Jack served honorably during the Vietnam War as a distinguished fighter pilot and retired at the rank of Major. During his time in the U.S. Air Force, he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters along with several other medals and commendations.

Jack and Peggy spent almost 35 years in Alamogordo, New Mexico, where Jack worked as a key part of various projects at the High Energy Laser Systems Test Facility. He retired in 2013 and moved to Buda, Texas, in 2014.

Jack's funeral will be held at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. in San Antonio, Texas, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015.
This will be a military burial with a brief graveside service. No flowers will be allowed at the service.

A funeral reception will be held at the Ft. Sam Houston Golf Course at 1050 Harry Wurzbach Rd., following the funeral, at approximately 1:30 p.m.
