Jack Noah Miller Obituary
Jack Noah Miller, 68, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011, in Alamogordo. He was born Sept. 1, 1942, in Glen Alum, W.Va., to Benjamin Franklin and Myrtle (Erwin) Miller.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, retiring as a master sergeant (E7) in 1981. While stationed at Holloman Air Force Base, he was known as "Cadillac Jack."
Survivors include his wife Yueh Ying "NeNe" Miller; daughters Wei Chi and her husband, Brian Gutshall, and Linda and her husband, Thomas Rich VI; grandchildren Brian Jr. and Clayton Gutshall; sisters Ruth Millan, of New Mexico, Frances Szamatowicz, of Ohio, and Joan Pruitt and Wanda Smith, both of Tennessee; and brothers David Miller, of Ohio, Lester Miller, of Washington, and Lowell Miller, of Tennessee.
The family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Thomas J. Farley officiating.
There will be a reception from 10 a.m. to noon at the Golden Palace Restaurant on First Street. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso with full military honors.
Friends of the Miller family and patrons of the Golden Palace are welcome to attend all services and the burial.
The Miller family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
