Obituary Condolences

John "Jack" A. dePersia
On Saturday, July 10, 2010, the spirit of John "Jack" A. dePersia joined that of his beloved wife, Doris, who preceded him in November 2009.
Jack was a veteran of World War II, serving in the signal corps and the infantry in France and Germany. He loved listening to music, especially jazz, big band music and Frank Sinatra. He also loved to read, and in recent years he listened to books on tape with the help of his son Lee and his son-in-law Tom. Before moving to Alamogordo, Jack and Doris loved to have their children and grandchildren visit them (and their pool!) in Florida. They considered their family to be their greatest joy and accomplishment.
Jack dePersia is survived by his sons Gordon (Sherry) and Lee (Teresa) and daughters Linda (Tom) and Diane (Doug); 11 grandchildren, Tommy, Stacy, Kimberly, Laurie, Bryan, Jacqueline, Stephen, Daniel, Deavila, Heather and Jessica; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was well loved and will be deeply missed. We, his family, are comforted by the belief that Jack and Doris are united again.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at 2 p.m. at St. Jude Columbarium.
Direct cremation has taken take place under the care of PCS Direct Cremation Services.
