John Leo Wolf Obituary
John Leo Wolf, 75, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, in Alamogordo. He was born Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1936, in Cumberland, Md., to Leo Andrew and Florence (Hettenhouser) Wolf.
He was a geodetic surveyor for the Department of Defense. He moved to Alamogordo in 1976 from Casa Grande, Ariz. He married Agnes L. Schramski on Dec. 15, 1979 in Alamogordo. He was very active in the B.P.O Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes L. Wolf, of the family home; his son John Wolf and wife, Tracy; daughters Renee Hall and Sonja Moore and husband, Jack; five stepsons, Bradley Davison and wife, Donah, Michael Davison and wife, Bonnie, Joseph Davison, Robert Davison and wife, Veronica, and Patrick Davison and wife, Deborah; brothers Paul Wolf and Michael Wolf; sisters Barbara Crumrine, Delores Helsel and husband, James, and Ramona Smith and husband, James; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012, at St. Jude Parish, 1404 College Ave., Alamogordo, with Father Tom Hoffman, S.J., as celebrant.
The fraternal orders will be providing a combined reception for family and friends at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Elks Lodge, 2290 Hamilton Road, Alamogordo.
The Wolf family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation has taken place at PCS.
