Jolie Leigh Ann Cantwell Obituary
Jolie Leigh Ann Cantwell, 32

Jolie Leigh Ann Cantwell, 32, was taken to Heaven by her Lord Jesus on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at her home in Alamogordo. Jolie was born September 3, 1977 in Longview, Texas.

She fought a long, brave battle with a rare neurological disease for over twenty years. During this time she suffered with diabetes, lost all hearing and sight and the ability to walk. She underwent a pacemaker implant on June 11, 2010 and her health took a sharp decline afterwards, from which she could not recover.

Jolie graduated from the School for the Deaf in Santa Fe in 1995 as Salutatorian of her Senior Class. Jolie's dream was to teach deaf children, but her disease progressed so quickly she was unable to pursue this goal.

Jolie was an inspiration to all who met her and loved her. She met all her health challenges with cheerfulness and bravery and never complained. She was a joy to be with and had a charming little sense of humor. She enjoyed sharing holidays and special occasions with her friends and family and always said ""Thank You"" for things that were done for her, even to her Mom for cooking a special meal. She never forgot loved ones birthdays and the simplest things made her happy. She prayed for her loved ones all the time and always thought of others. Jolie was the joy of our lives, a little bit of Heaven on this earth.

Survivors include her mother, Dixie Harris Bredy, of Alamogordo; her father Alvin Cantwell, of Casper, Wyoming; her brother Alex Cantwell and his wife Kerrie, of Albuquerque and four nieces, Selah Cantwell, Aislyn Cantwell, Micah Welch and Adeena Marquez.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel.

""I loved you and now
cherish the memories and
the love you have left me
in your soft departure.""

The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation has taken place locally at PCS.
