Judith Joy Turner, 57, of Alamogordo, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Mountain View Hospital, Las Cruces, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 14, 1955, in El Paso to Edwin and Marceline Arnecke.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Turner, of 35 years; daughter Joni Young and her husband, Scott, of Alamogordo, his sons David Phillips, of Hornell, N.Y. and Zachary Young of Okinawa, Japan, and son Casey Turner, of Alamogordo. Brother Eddie Arnecke and his daughters, Abbra Arnecke, of Hilliard, Ohio and Mary Arnecke, of Fort Worth, Texas. Nephew Tommy Tuner and wife, Jill, and their children Thomas Phillip and Mary Beth, of Connecticut and nephew Bobby Turner and wife, Sheila, of Florida. Niece Kimberly Turner and nephews Shawn and Chad Mildon, of Utah and brother-in-law Dinnis Mildon. Close friends Jeff and Sheila Tanner, of Cloudcroft, along with many cousins, aunts and uncles.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, father and older brother Billy and sister Nanna.
She had many friends at K-Mart where she worked for 18 years. Two special friends she had were Judy Hines and Elva Perry. She had a hug and smile for everyone and will be truly missed.
Arrangements by Alamogordo Funeral Home.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
