Obituary Condolences

Justin T. Caje, 22, passed away at his home in Alamogordo Saturday, March 21, 2009.
Justin was born Jan. 9, 1987 in Ruidoso. He was a unit commander and proud graduate of the New Mexico Youth Challenge Academy.
Justin left us too soon. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. May God grant rest to his soul.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa, and their infant daughter, Olivia, of the family home; his mother, Louella Beth Kazhe, of Mescalero; his father, Toby Caje, of Tularosa; his stepmother Mary Bruer, of Alamogordo; his siblings Brandon Bruer and Kristin Bruer, of Alamogordo, Sam Chino, of Mescalero, Adrianne Caje, of Tularosa, and Erica Rodriguez; his grandmother Josephine Smith, of Mescalero; an aunt, Jennifer Smith, of Mescalero; an uncle and aunt, Kevin and Shelley Bruer, of Colorado; a cousin, Janessa Shendo, of Mescalero; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents Ed Smith, Carol Ann Kazhe Treas and Arlynn Bruer; his stepfather John Bruer; an older brother, Thomas Kaydahzinne; and a good friend, Christian Aldava.
A vigil service will be conducted Friday, March 27, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Apache Mission in Mescalero with the rosary to be recited by Sister Robert Ann Hecker.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the Hamilton-O'Dell Chapel with Father Paul Botenhagen, O.F.M., officiating.
Interment will follow in Monte Vista Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Bruer, Toby Caje, Sam Chino, Jesus Ruiz II, Daniel La Paz, Kyle Valdez, Vincent Telles and Benny Ramos Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesus Ruiz Sr. and Carlitos Coyazo.
Friends may call Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home.
