Obituary Condolences

Karen Glasco, 68, homemaker and retired medical transcriptionist, went into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, in High Rolls.
Karen was born in Pipestone, Minn., on Dec. 13, 1941, and lived in many states, including Minnesota, Arizona, North Dakota, Washington, Kansas, Tennessee, Texas, Arkansas and New Mexico. She lived an adventurous life, being a true Norwegian with a Viking spirit who loved to travel.
She never knew a stranger and was loved by all who met her. She will be dearly missed by many. Karen is survived by her former husbands, Ron Grendahl, of Wichita, Kan., and Marty Glasco, of Corpus Christi, Texas; her five children Brad Grendahl, of Andover, Kan., Mike Grendahl, of Fort Worth, Texas, Lori Grendahl, of Pittsburg, Kan., Marti Ruser, of Richardson, Texas, and Trey Glasco of Corpus Christi; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services and celebration of life will be held at Alamogordo Funeral Home in Alamogordo on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, with viewing at 9:30 a.m. and memorial service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers and because of Karen's great love for animals, the family requests that memorials be sent to the Humane Society.
The Glasco family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place locally at PCS.
