Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and dear friend met with our heavenly father Sunday, April 7, 2013, and is now at peace.
Klad was born March 1, 1952, or as he made many of us believe Feb. 29, 1952, to R.W. (Bill) Zimmerle and Charleen (Miller) Zimmerle in Junction City, Kan. John Joe Wilkinson later became his step-father.
Klad's life is a legacy with no boundaries. He was truly loved and respected by all who had the honor of knowing him. His love for all was so apparent and he will be deeply missed. May we be guided by his final plat…his true sense of goodness that he gave us all.
Klad graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1970 and attended college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo. He returned to Alamogordo in 1976 and became a land surveyor. He served as a firefighter, chief and EMS Captain of Burro Flats Volunteer Fire Department (BFVFD) for 10 years. During his life, he served in numerous civic and community organizations.
