Obituary Condolences

Beloved wife, mother and daughter
Kristie Kay Auld, 34, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009, at her home in Alamogordo. She was a lifelong resident of Alamogordo, born at Holloman Air Force Base on July 31, 1974, to Kenneth and Carolyn (La Van Thomas) Kilby. 
Kristie was a graduate of Alamogordo High School in 1993. She attended services at First Assembly of God. She lived her life to the fullest, active in bowling, junior rodeo, youth football, and with family and friends. Kristie is a hero to most and an inspiration to all.
She is survived by her loving husband, Arron Auld, daughter Codi Auld and son Colton Auld, of the family home in Dog Canyon; caring mother, Carol Rieger, and her husband and Kristie's stepfather, Ronald Rieger, of Alamogordo; father, Ken Kilby, of Alamogordo; sisters Sue Sales and husband, Larry, Cheryl Winrow and husband, Mike, Lynda Zamora and husband, David; in-laws Eddie and Linda Auld; brothers-in-law Ken Auld and Heath Auld; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marie and Elbert Thomas.
Pallbearers include David Zamora, Mike Winrow, Ken Auld, Heath Auld, Oscar Veyena and Travis Griffin. 
Honorary pallbearers include Larry Sales, Aaron Cady, Tim Shepard, Brandon Angus and Aaron Sales.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009, at First Assembly of God on Cuba Avenue with Pastor David Crispin officiating.
Interment will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a contribution in Kristie's name may do so to: The UNM Cancer Center at UNM Foundation Inc., MSC07 4260, 1 University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM 87131-0001.
The Auld family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
