Krystal Dawn Stokes Obituary
With great sadness, we announce Krystal Dawn Stokes, 27, passed away suddenly on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, in Florida. She was born in Sewickley, Pa. on Nov. 16, 1982. At age 3, the family moved to Alamogordo, NM where she spent her childhood and teenage years.
She was the middle child of five, with two older brothers and two younger sisters. She worked as a waitress to get herself through Everest University where she was proud to be attending to become a medical assistant. She moved to Florida in 2003. Her hobbies were singing, skydiving, boating, and camping where she loved to listen to stories around the campfire as a child. She had such an incredible sense of humor, she would make you laugh 'til you cried! She had a beautiful voice and sang like an angel. Krystal was both beautiful inside and out, her emerald green eyes would melt your heart.
She is survived by her mother and father, Diana and Angelo Trunzo; brothers, Dominic and Adam Stokes; sisters, Jessica and Diana Trunzo. Also her nephews and nieces whom she adored dearly: neices, Liliana Stokes, Diana Santiago and Hailey Trunzo; nephews, Dominic Stokes II, Anthony Stokes and Adam Stokes II, all of Alamogordo; and Grandparents, Eleanor and Albert Frankeny and Robert J. Stokes, all from Pittsburgh, Pa.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will greet friends at Alamogordo Funeral Home, located at 2301 First Street, on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A celebration of her life will take place Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at 10 a.m. at First Assembly Worship Center with Pastor David Crispin officiating.

Reception information will be announced in the Alamogordo Daily News on Wednesday, Sept. 1, and on Jessica Trunzo's Facebook page. Interment will be held at a later date at Monte Vista Cemetery. For more information please call Alamogordo Funeral Home.
