LaVonne H. Dickman Obituary
LaVonne H. Dickman , loving wife, mother, and child of Christ, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald O. Dickman (86); 4 children, Steven (Jane) 64, Diana (Tom) 62, Daniel (Susannah) 60, and Kathryn (Perry) 58. She was a grandmother to 5 grandchildren; Andrew and Naomi, Gilbert and Joshua, Christopher and Zachariah Dickman.

Don and LaVonne celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on August 13, 2016. LaVonne was at home with her husband and family when she left this world and entered into The Lord's loving arms.

Don and LaVonne served as Deacon and wife in the Catholic church for over 30 years. LaVonne was a passionate teacher and director of religious education at the La Luz Parish for a number of years and was a model for others of how to live in the Light of Christ for her entire life. She is at peace and will be missed.

Services for LaVonne will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church in La Luz, New Mexico. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 am with Mass celebrated at 10:00 am.

Should friends desire, LaVonne had requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Food for the Poor, 1-800-427-9104.

The Dickman family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services.
