Obituary Condolences

Lawrence (Jeb) Shaw passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at the family home in Burleson, Texas, from a heart attack. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Grace Methodist Church in Alamogordo to celebrate his life. Jeb was born in Albuquerque on March 21, 1956. The family moved to Alamogordo in 1958. He graduated from Alamogordo High School in 1974. Jeb played trombone in those great Tiger Bands that won numerous awards and honors. After graduation Jeb went straight to work.
He moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 1979 and managed different car washes. He then got to see America as a long haul truck driver, crisscrossing the country, driving for different firms until 2006. He moved back to Alamogordo in 2004 and was a resident until he relocated to Burleson just a few months ago. He met and married Pam in 1985. He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence U. Shaw Jr., in 1996 and by his mother, Dorothy Shaw, in 2007.
Survivors include daughter Jennifer Shaw and Brandon Belcher and grandson Brayden Belcher, of Burleson, Texas; son Patrick Shaw and grandson Draven Shaw, of Alamogordo; stepchildren Aimee Molder, of Keller, Texas, Michael Woehl, of Keller, and Stephanie Puente, of Fort Worth; step-grandchildren Nicholas and Christopher, of Fort Worth, and Tristen, of Keller; sisters Charlotte Hutchinson and husband, Brian, of Albuquerque, Leslie Shaw, of Alamogordo; brother Matt Shaw and wife, Mary Ann, of High Rolls; nephews Christopher Hutchinson and wife, Kristen, of Albuquerque, Timothy Hutchinson, of Austin, Texas; Aaron Shaw, of Albuquerque, A.J. Shaw and Zach Shaw, of High Rolls, and Dustin Dukes, of Alamogordo; and nieces Amy Shaw, of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Stacy Dukes, of Alamogordo. We will all miss our loving and truly wonderful brother, father, uncle and friend.
