Leatha J. Graf, 78
Leatha J. Graf, 78, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010, in Alamogordo. She was born Nov. 27, 1931, in Hydro, Okla., to Mike and Letha (Smith) McGowan.
She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and gardening.
Survivors include her brother Jack Palmer, of Alvin, Texas, and sisters Betty Lindsey, of Albuquerque, and Arletta Vermillion, of Kansas City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry (Hank) Graf; brother Mac McGowan; and sisters Eunice Poortinga, Mildred Armstrong, Leola Bobo and Carol Porter.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in Tularosa with Fr. Paul Botenhagen, OFM, as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tularosa.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home before the rosary.
The Graf family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
