Lloyd G. Hutchcraft Obituary
Lloyd Hutchcraft, of Alamogordo, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 1, 2010, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.
Lloyd was born in Clinton, Ill., raised in Jacksonville and went to Jacksonville High School.
He was one of two children born to the late William and Thelma Hutchcraft, the devoted brother to the late Bill Hutchcraft and loving father to the late Debora Marie Hutchcraft.
Lloyd will forever be remembered by his devoted wife of 49 years, Shirley Hutchcraft; loving daughters Judy Hutchcraft and Cherrelle Multari; treasured grandchildren Derek Roberts, Stephen Hutchcraft, Miranda Rutledge and Lillian Multari; caring nieces and nephews Cyndi Thorton, Wendell Hutchcraft, Rowena Dawdy and Timothy Hutchcraft; in-law Doris Hutchcraft; and countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
Lloyd loved listening to gospel music, being with his family and making others smile. Lloyd touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial mass at 11 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2010, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 705 Delaware Ave. in Alamogordo. with Father Bryant Hausfeld, O.F.M., celebrant.
Inurnment will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery.
The Hutchcraft family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place locally at PCS.
