Obituary Condolences


Loverd Coleman, age 65, died on November 19, 2015 after losing his battle with a fierce and swift cancer.

Born in Mississippi and raised in Alamogordo, New Mexico Loverd was known to some of his friends as "LC" and on the basketball court as "Big Bot." After graduation, Loverd moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend UNLV where he continued to play basketball and later worked for 31 years for the DOD where he was preparing to retire and travel the world.

He leaves behind his wife Na (Kim) Coleman, two children, Kerry and Cory by a previous marriage to Brenda Shelley Wade, two beautiful granddaughters, Dakota and Park and one beautiful great-granddaughter, Camille.
Loverd is survived by three brothers Lavelle, Warner Jr., and Emery; four sisters Mary Jo, Patra, Catha and Vera, and a host of family and friends that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents Warner and Gladys Coleman, and his younger brother Voner Coleman.
