Lucila Alicia Anderson, 87, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, in Albuquerque. She was born on Dec. 5, 1926, in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, to Leopoldo and Elisa Perez.

She was well known for her involvement in the family business, Jimmy's Appliance Repair. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Survivors include her children, James "Jaime" Anderson and his wife, Mary Helen, of Alamogordo; Elisa Anderson of Alamogordo; and Richard Anderson and his wife, Tina, of Dallas; six grandchildren: Sammy Joe Anderson, Sandra Marie Anderson, Stephen James Anderson, Jacob James Anderson, Colton Dakota Anderson and Wyoma Rose Anderson; six great-grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by father, Leopoldo Perez, mother, Elisa Perez and husband, James E. "Jimmy" Anderson.

The Rosary for Lucila Anderson will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church by Linda Villabisencio.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Lindsay, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
A reception will follow the burial at her son's, Jaime Anderson's, home.
Pallbearers include Sammy Anderson, Stephen Anderson, Joe Beach, Arturo Gallegos, Jake Anderson and D.C. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Curtis, Dennis Curtis, Chas Curtis, Arthur Valenzuela and Danny Aguilar.

The family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home.

The Anderson family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
