Margarita (Jaques) Amparano Obituary

Margarita (Jaques) Amparano was born in Ft. Stockton, Texas on April 23, 1929. She entered Heaven's Gates on Oct. 2, 2016, to once again be united with her husband of 56 years, Margarito.

Margarita retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant from Good Samaritan Society Betty Dare Nursing Facility in Alamogordo. She was an excellent cook and homemaker and always enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Family gatherings at her home in La Luz were always a special part of her life, as she always looked forward to time with all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Later, she moved to San Angelo, Texas with her eldest daughter, Velma, and still treasured time with her family at every opportunity.

Margarita had an unwavering faith in God. She was a longtime member of La Luz Baptist Church and when she moved to San Angelo became a member of Segunda Iglesia Bautista. The bible and its teachings were forever present in her life. With that faith and belief, she reassured everyone who saw her that she knew that heaven awaited her.

Margarita was preceded in death by her loving husband, Margarito Amparano. She was also predeceased by her two sisters, Paula Baeza and Gloria Jaques.

Margarita is survived by her five children and their spouses, Velma Elizardo (Jose), Michael Amparano (Georgia), Gilbert Amparano (Pam), Valerie Doege (Brian) and Jessica Hoidahl (James). Margarita has 13 grandchildren, Kelly Elizardo, Amy Elizardo, Dominick Amparano (Sami), Richard Amparano, Christopher Doege, Jason Doege, Evan Amparano (Maria), Blair Baeza, Haley Arrington, Myra Amparano, Phelan Hoidahl, Rainey Hoidahl, Alex Amparano, Daniel Amparano, and Jasmine Hoidahl. Her great grandchildren are Krysta (Travis), Julian, Zane, Zada, Amor, Gavyn, Madison, Gage, Aubriella, Erin, Keagan and Cara.

The family would like to give Good Samaritan Society Betty Dare their greatest gratitude for the end of life care she received and the wonderful support and comfort the staff showed. The family also gives a special thank you to Pastor Ron Tyson, a longtime family friend, for providing love and comfort in the family's time of need.

The family will hold a private service for Margarita at a later date, whereas, she will be interred with her husband at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Arrangements are being provided by Alamogordo Funeral Home.

Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
