1917 - 2010 Obituary Condolences
Marian Brennan (Rieder), 92, of Alamogordo, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010, at home.
She was born Nov. 13, 1917, in Detroit to John and Anna Rieder.
Marian is predeceased by her parents and husband, James C. Brennan.
She is survived by her only sister Josephine Muylaert, 91, of Eastville, Mich.; daughter Kathy LePage, who survives husband, Luke LePage; son-in-law George Descamps Jr. who survives wife, Mary Ann Descamps (Brennan); grandchildren Marianne (Descamps) Schaffino and Albelardo Schaffino, James Descamps and Marjorie Prefontaine, Michelle LePage and Boyd Smith, George Descamps III and Janice Descamps, and Nicole LePage and Ryan Rempel; and great-grandchildren Charles Descamps, Logan Descamps, Audrey Koski, Lillian Koski and Brennan LePage.
Marian was educated in Michigan and worked as a Michigan school bus driver for 30 years, retiring to Alamogordo. She was active with the senior center, delivering Meals on Wheels and teaching quilting classes. She was a member of the RSVP for 25 years and a world traveler.
Marian has been a member of the Catholic church her entire life. With Marian's family and friends, Father Bruce Hausfield will celebrate Mass of the Resurrection at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Our Lady of the Light in La Luz.
Marian donated her remains to the University of New Mexico Medical School.
