Obituary Condolences

Marilyn L. Taylor, 76, of Mayhill, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at William Beaumont Medical Center in El Paso.
She was born May 3, 1933, in Tacoma, Wash., to Marion S. and Mary Leta (Whitehouse) Madsen. She was a highly honored history teacher in the public school system. She was a member of Who's Who among American School Teachers. She was very supportive of animal charities and an active advocate of animal rights and loved her pets dearly. She also supported the Navajo Indian tribe.
She is survived by her husband, Paul A. Taylor, of the family home; two daughters, Carol Moore and husband, John, of San Antonio, Texas, and Amanda Taylor, of Yuma, Ariz.; three grandchildren, John Taylor Moore and wife, Jill, and Jason Taylor Moore, all of San Antonio, Texas, and Lauren Mariko Moore, of Los Angeles, Calif.; and two great-grandchildren, Delaney and Kinley Moore, of San Antonio, Texas.
The Taylor family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home to direct the arrangements.
Private memorial services will take place at a future date.
