1939 - 2008 Obituary Condolences
Marjorie Anne Morgan, 68, of Oak Harbor, Wash., passed away April 7, 2008, after a
short illness.
Marge was born Aug. 9, 1939, in Huntington, W.Va., to Arthur and Marjorie Neumann.
After marrying Robert Morgan in 1962, they lived at naval bases around the country and
eventually had three children. After the marriage ended, Marge lived in Idaho, where she
earned a degree in physics from Idaho State University before eventually settling in
Cloudcroft.
While in Cloudcroft, Marge worked for the Department of Defense and was part of the
stealth program. On retirement from the Defense Department, Marge turned her passion
for her Bouvier des Flandres dogs into a career, running a kennel and teaching clicker-
style dog training. Eventually, she moved with her dogs to her final home in Puget
Sound, Wash., where she took up quilting.
Marge is survived by her three children, Anne Swetonic, of Seattle, Danny Morgan, of
Houston, and Beth Morgan, of Palo Alto, Calif. She is also survived by her siblings,
Bramen "Petie" Gibbs, Vicki Hall and Judy Blinn; and six grandchildren.
Marge requested no formal funeral services be conducted. Cremation was held with a
private family gathering and inurnment will follow at a later date. Arrangements are
entrusted to Burley Funeral Chapel, Oak Harbor, Washington.
