Martha Marshall Nash, born Oct. 2, 1921, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010. She is preceded by her loving husband George H. Nash Jr..
Martha is survived by her son, George H. Nash III and wife Helen; granddaughter's Erin Nash, and Melissa Gill and husband John; great granddaughter, Gwendolyn Gill, all of Georgetown, Texas; Martha's sister and brother in-law, Loraine and Mack McGregor of Georgetown, Texas and sister, Patricia Dean of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The family will have a private celebration and honor Martha's life in Georgetown, Texas. Her son and his wife will then bring Martha to Alamogordo to be laid to rest next to her loving husband.
A small graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at Monte Vista Cemetery in Alamogordo with Rev. Harry Riser officiating.
Martha Nash was many things to many family and friends. She was a wife, mother, sister, mother in-law, grandmother, great- grandmother, school teacher, and friend. Martha shared her love, joy, and laugher with each of us and we were blessed to have had her in our lives. We love you, and we will miss you.

The Nash family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
