Mary Lou Saucedo Brusuelas of Alamogordo passed away October 28, 2015.

Born August 6, 1938, Mary Lou was a loving wife, beloved mother and devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Some of her many life's accomplishments include working as a service provider for the New Mexico School for the Blind and as an elderly caregiver. Her service touched the hearts of many in her community. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Alamogordo Lodge 2016, and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, Alamogordo Lodge 7686.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her father and mother John and Agnes Saucedo of Carrizozo, N.M., and husband Fidel Brusuelas of Tularosa, N.M.

She is survived by her two brothers, John Saucedo Jr. and wife Mary of La Luz, N.M.; Maxi Saucedo and wife Patti of Carrizozo, N.M.; one sister Candie Mae Aguilar of Carrizozo, N.M.; five children, Marie Herrera-White and her husband David of Alamogordo, N.M., Floyd "Eddie" Herrera Jr. and his wife Valerie of Alamogordo, N.M., Michael Herrera of Farmington, N.M., Gabriel Herrera of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Johnnie Herrera of Tularosa, N.M. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Mary Lou's final wishes were not to have a memorial service. Mass Intentions will be provided Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, Alamogordo.
