Obituary Condolences

Nathan Andrew Nassef passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009. He was born on Oct. 12, 1978, in Alamogordo to John and Sarah Nassef.
Nathan enlisted in the Army in 1997, serving one tour in Korea and then stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C. Nathan was medically retired from the Army in 1999. His passion was the Army, the U.S. military, traveling and his cat Esther.
Nathan is survived by his parents, John and Sarah Nassef, of Tularosa; his sister Eva Ramsey and her husband, Burt Ramsey, of Fort Huachuca, Ariz.; his brother Johnny Nassef and his wife, Mandy Nassef, of Sarasota, Fla.; his brother Jason Nassef and his wife, MaryBeth Nassef, of Charleston, S.C.; and three nieces, SarahBeth Nassef, Isabella Nassef and Sutton Ramsey. Nathan was deeply loved by several uncles, aunts and cousins from California, Connecticut, Maryland Massachusetts, New Mexico, Texas and Germany.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at the First Assembly of God church with the Rev. David Crispin officiating.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers being sent that a donation be made to one of Nathan's favorite charities: The Wounded Warrior Fund, Life Outreach or the Military Order of the Purple Heart.
Cremation will take place locally at PCS entrusted to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
