Polly Mae Countryman Obituary

Polly Mae Countryman passed away peacefully at her home with her loving husband by her side on Oct. 12, 2014, at the age of 67.
Polly was born on Dec. 2, 1946, in Parkin, Ark., to Blanche and William LeeEarl Cagle. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt and friend. Polly's love for her family was seen in her daily devotion, putting others before herself.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She especially enjoyed Thanksgiving and Christmas. She enjoyed collecting pigs and dolls. Her favorite color was red.

Her girls were her world. Her husband was her life and her faith in God was the glue that held it all together. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Sherman G. Countryman; her six daughters, Leona (Drake) Miller of Las Cruces; Alice (Andre) Legardy of California; Judy Countryman also of Las Cruces; Donna Garcia (Gordy King) of Boles Acres; Tamatha (Eddy) Boles of Boles Acres, and Teresa (Carlos) Sierra of Alamogordo.
She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, Gabrielle, Gavin, Deseree, Junior, Coriena, Ashley, Amy, Joseph, Amanda, Jennifer, Crystal, Christopher, Mandy, David, Jessica, Stetson, Clarissa, Angel, Simon, Estrella, Crystal and Carlos Jr. and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Gary Wayne Cagle, sister-in-law Kay Cagle and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Blanch and William LeeEarl Cagle; her stepfather Hershel Caldwell; her brothers, Donald Cagle, Leon Cagle and her sister Patsy Burright; her sister-in-law Margie Cagle and her great grandsons, Eliseo Diaz and Micah Sandoval.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Primera Iglesia Bautista located at1711 Ocotillo Drive in Alamogordo, with Bart Montgomery officiating.
Interment will follow at Monte Vista Cemetery.
Pallbearers include David Boles, Sgt. Stetson Countryman, Christopher Garcia, Simon Garcia, Joseph Nunez and Gavin Miller.
Honorary Pallbearers are Junior Contreras and Carlos Sierra Jr.

The family will greet friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at Alamogordo Funeral Home.
