1951 - 2015 Obituary Condolences

Randall Joe Holsey, 64, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2015, in Alamogordo, after a year and a half long bout with throat cancer.

Randall was born October of 1951, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Bill and Wilma (Rogers) Holsey, and in 1956 the family moved to Alamogordo. Growing up he had many friends and enjoyed playing baseball, and was even part of a Pony league all-star baseball team that represented Alamogordo at a tournament in Chihuahua, Mexico in the 1960's. After high school he was drafted into service during the Vietnam war. He served his country, however he came back from Vietnam a different, more quiet and solitary person.

Randall then lived in San Antonio, Texas for many years, where he was a cable television installer and later worked for Pace Foods. He moved back to Alamogordo about ten years ago.

Randy was a gentle soul who was always very special to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his three siblings, Steve Holsey, of Prosper, Texas, Linda Schauer, of High Rolls, and Jennifer Torres, of Las Cruces.
