Robert H. "Bob" Seaman, 81
Robert H. "Bob" Seaman, 81, of Alamogordo, entered eternal life Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center. He was born Sept. 19, 1928, in Haverhill, Mass.
Bob served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Holloman Air Force Base. He retired from Dynelectron as an accounting supervisor. Early in his career he served as president of the Tularosa Chamber of Commerce, was elected to the school board of Tularosa, was the general chairman and parade announcer for the Tularosa Rose Festival and served as a commander of the America Legion in Tularosa. He was also very involved in the Little League and Pony League baseball activities in Tularosa.
Bob was preceded in death by the "love of his life," his wife, Josephine, in 2004; his parents and a sister. He is survived by his brother Ray; sister Carol; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at St. Francis de Paula Church in Tularosa, where Bob and his wife were married and were parishioners for many years. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Tularosa.
