Robert Shawn Graham Obituary
Robert Shawn Graham, 50

Robert Shawn Graham, known as Shawn, found peace in February 2018 at the age of 50. He was born May 11, 1967 in Alamogordo, NM to Danny Graham and Sandra Graham Young.

On March 19, 1987 Shawn joined the Air Force. He subsequently volunteered to serve in Desert Storm. He was proud of the years he served our great country and received multiple commendations.

He moved with his family to Seattle. He worked as a supervisor for many years for Thales. In Seattle he met some wonderful friends with whom he camped and hunted. He loved his family and friends and was the first one to pull a prank or tell a joke. He always had a smile on his face.

Shawn was referred to as "Gentle Giant". To many family members, he was called "Tater".

Survivors include his daughter, Fallon Cara Savioli and son in law, Jay of San Diego, CA; stepson, Manny Valdez of Seattle, WA; mother, Sandra Young; sister and brother in law, Becky Graham Roper and Rich; brothers and sisters in law, Cheyne Graham and Tracey, and Shannon Graham and Debby; nieces and nephews, Shanna Holmes, Mandi Henderson, Rusty Hinkle, Daniel Graham, Clinton Graham, Tanner Graham, Hunter Graham, Jessica Roper, Robby Gutierrez; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Dan Graham and his grandmother, Frances Young.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Alamogordo Funeral Home on First Street.

We will celebrate Shawn's life at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Monte Vista Cemetery (West side of cemetery) in Alamogordo with Pastor Kyle Bueermann officiating.

There will be a reception following the service at Si Senor in Alamogordo - we hope you can join us for Dutch treat to laugh, cry and remember Shawn.

The Graham family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
